It's a focused, in-person event dedicated to real-world projects at the intersection of Bitcoin mining and energy systems. It's centred on concrete, live initiatives – presented by the people directly responsible for them – offering technical, economic and operational insight rather than theory.
What topics will be covered? Bitcoin mining offers a practical answer that's already working in the field. At FES 2026, you will hear directly from the people operating these projects — how mining is being embedded into modern energy systems, how surplus renewables are being converted into heat and revenue, how France is positioning its electricity mix to double the Bitcoin network hashrate, and how the economics work in practice: real deployments, real data, five-plus years of operational experience.

FES 2026 brings together world leaders in the energy sector for a day of sharing, debate and networking. It is a unique opportunity to keep up with the sector's agenda, exchange experiences with other professionals and connect with internationally recognised experts.
The event will take place on 14 May 2026, between 09:30AM and 5PM, at Tumo Lisboa, Hub Criativo do Beato, Lisbon.
The Agenda is designed to encourage dialogue between participants and speakers throughout the day. The FES 2026 opens with a welcome coffee between 09:30AM and 10AM, followed by a mid-morning coffee break and an extended lunch break. The event is expected to conclude at 5PM. The full agenda will be released closer to the date.
Yes, access to the event is conditional on presenting a valid ticket. See below for the available ticket types.
There are 2 types of tickets: Ticket "Fully Charged" – grants access to the conference and the lunch organised by the event team; Ticket "Charging" – grants access to the conference only. To know more, visit the tickets page.

Lunch will take place at the Refeitório (Praça), a short walk from the event venue. The meal includes: • Bread and butter • Soup (buffet format) • 1 main course (buffet format) • Dessert (buffet format) • Water or juice (other drinks may be purchased separately) • Coffee Note: The main course must be selected before the event (mandatory). Approximately two weeks before FES 2026, you will receive an email asking you to choose your main course. A vegetarian option will be available.
